Product Information
Small houses can be the beginning of big stories. Bauspiel Colorful Houses consists of a total of eight colorful wooden pieces (two for each house) that invite the child to build villages, streets, castles, and imaginative small worlds where figures can move in and play can develop freely.
Each house shape is designed with openings that function as doors and windows. This gives the constructions a lively expression and makes it easy to combine them with small people, animals, cars, and other natural materials. The houses can be used individually or put together to form larger constructions, and the child can constantly find new ways to build.
The bright colors make it easy to recognize and sort the parts, while the natural structure of the wood is still visible through the water-based surface treatment. The result is a building set that is both beautiful to look at and inspiring to play with.
Colorful Houses works equally well alone as with other building elements from Bauspiel. They combine particularly well with rainbows, light blocks, and small figures, giving the child a natural starting point for role-play and storytelling.

When children build houses and fill them with figures, the building often becomes the start of pretend play. Research shows that pretend play helps develop language, social understanding, and the ability to see situations from others' perspectives.
